Mark your calendars for the 42nd Annual IDA-UMB Conference.

This year’s event will take place Friday, April 8th at the New Brighton Community Center in New Brighton, MN.  Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Nancy Cushen White, a  professor at the University of California-San Francisco. Her keynote topic is “The Reading Brain: Are Reading and Writing Unnatural Acts?” In addition to the keynote, our day-long event will feature many breakout sessions with topics of interest to parents and educators. Look for registration to open on our website by March 1. Again this year, CEUs, college credit and a limited number of scholarships will be available.  IDA-UMB members receive a discounted registration, so consider joining or renewing before the conference.
