The International Dyslexia Association, Upper Midwest Branch (IDA-UMB), is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting individuals with dyslexia and related language-based learning disorders, their families, and the community as a whole. We offer advocacy, educational opportunities and information to those with dyslexia, their families, and those that work with them each day—including tutors, general and special education teachers, school administrators and speech language pathologists, and related professionals.

With the right instruction at the right intensity, all individuals can learn to read proficiently and reach their full potential.

The most important message we can convey as you begin your journey, is that there is great hope for the future for those who struggle to read, and those with dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities.
