Give a gift to The International Dyslexia Association, Upper Midwest Branch!
The International Dyslexia Association, Upper Midwest Branch (IDA-UMB) is 501(c)(3) organization serving constituents in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and the Canadian province of Manitoba. We receive no governmental funding, and are funded solely through private donations, membership dues, foundation grants, conference revenue, vehicle donations, and other development efforts.
With today’s challenging economy, record state deficits, and stable funding to public schools in jeopardy, IDA-UMB has seen the need for advocacy, information, referral services, and requests for scholarships increase. Your generous donation will enable IDA-UMB to continue its mission, by expanding programs and extending its reach even further. This will help to ensure that all individuals with dyslexia, and related language-based learning disabilities, are given the opportunity to lead productive and fulfilling lives, and reach their full potential.
Your valued contribution, no matter the size, can have an immediate impact on fulfilling our mission—and more importantly will have an lasting impact on the lives of the individuals with dyslexia and their families, right here in your own community. With your help, IDA-UMB will continue to offer advocacy, information and hope.

Support IDA-UMB through giveMN.org!
The Minnesota Community Foundation and other key nonprofit leaders in Minnesota created giveMN.org to take advantage of the many benefits offered by online giving for both donors and nonprofits.
Thanks to all who donated on November 17, 2009 - in MN's first "Give to the Max" day. It was a rousing success!
During this strategic 24-hour period, The Saint Paul Foundation, Minneapolis Foundation and Bush Foundation committed $500,000 in matching contributions to support community needs and to cover transaction fees so that 100 percent of all donations go to the nonprofit organizations.
Give to the Max day may be over for this year, but our work is far from done
Your continued support and contribution could not come at a more critical time. IDA-UMB is working tirelessly to raise awareness of dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities and promote scientifically based reading instruction for all kids, but our work is cut out for us. Your tax-deductible contribution will help IDA-UMB increase outreach and advocacy efforts in our region, and allow us to expand program offerings.
Simply click on the green giveMN.org logo above and search for "The Upper Midwest Branch of the International Dyslexia Association," or this link will take you directly to the IDA-UMB page – here.
Again, thank you for your generous support!
