Ways to donate

Give a gift to The International Dyslexia Association, Upper Midwest Branch!

The International Dyslexia Association, Upper Midwest Branch (IDA-UMB) is 501(c)(3) organization serving constituents in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and the Canadian province of Manitoba. We receive are funded through private donations, membership dues, foundation grants, conference revenue, vehicle donations, and other development efforts.

Your generous donation will enable IDA-UMB to continue its mission by expanding programs and extending its reach even further. This will help to ensure that all individuals with dyslexia, and related language-based learning disabilities, are given the opportunity to lead productive and fulfilling lives, and reach their full potential.

Types of gifts available to those wishing to donate to IDA-UMB include: general donations, memorials, honorariums, teacher tributes, and teacher/student scholarships. IDA-UMB accepts cash/checks, appreciated securities (for more information on securities donations, see www.interdys.org/DonateSecurities.htm), planned givings, bequests, and in-kind donations.

Greater Twin Cities United Way
Make your gift to IDA-UMB through the Greater Twin Cities United Way and stretch your donated dollars even further. Many employers offer matching gifts through their annual United Way campaigns. You can designate the International Dyslexia Association-Upper Midwest Branch as your choice of donations.

The International Dyslexia Association – Upper Midwest Branch is not a United Way agency, but as a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, we can receive donations through United Way campaigns.
